We cleaned Karin Vaughns’ windows today, and boy was it a beautiful day to clean windows! Karin just recently moved to this new house from a house in the same neighborhood. We’ve cleaned the windows at her old house for about two years. While they were in the process of moving she called us to clean the windows on the new house. Unfortunately, we were too busy to come out and clean the windows at the new home. She ended up having to call another broken arrow window cleaning company to do the cleaning instead.
The main reason she was wanting the windows cleaned was for an upcoming photo shoot of the home to showcase the interior designers work in the house. Whichever window cleaning company she ended up going with didn’t do a very good job. The next day after the cleaning, the morning sun revealed all of the mistakes the previous window cleaning company left on the windows. There were streaks left from a squeegee near the middle of every window. They also didn’t take the time to dry off the top of the glass with a towel so that there wouldn’t be any soapy water drips. As a result, three of the windows had soapy water run down from the top frame over the clean glass. The photo shoot of the home is tomorrow so we scheduled the cleaning for today. While we were there cleaning the windows, a company that installs curtains and blinds over windows was there installing motorized window shades.
After it was all said and done, Karen was extremely happy with how the windows looked. We just cleaned the exterior side of the windows this time around, but she already booked an interior and exterior cleaning for May. Additionally, while we were there cleaning, her neighbor also got a window cleaning estimate off of our website. It looks like we might book that job for spring as well. What a productive start to the spring cleaning season!
